The Story Behind LIPSMART

Briana experienced chronic, painful lip dryness that disrupted her daily life and sleep. Despite trying countless products—both drugstore and high-end—nothing provided real, lasting relief. Inspired by her father, a respected chemist and founder of Lambert Kay, she set out to develop a treatment that addressed the root cause of lip dehydration. After extensive research and formulation, LIPSMART was created. After spending over 20 years as a Fashion Designer/Merchandiser and most recently in the Beauty Biz, founder Vickie Adamson was searching for a product women would want to "splurge" on (at an affordable price point) in this new economy.

Vickie says "I noticed women of all ages at the gym, hair salons, shopping and running errands wore a rubber band around their wrist so they could put their hair up...I thought there must be something more attractive and as women we all love jewelry...!" And L'DUEX was born!!!

Unlike the "dressed up rubber band" attempts in the mass market, L'DUEX is first, a piece of beautiful jewelry that women love to wear as "arm candy", but also L'DUEX as a "hair tie"!

Since L'DUEX's launch in November of 2012 they can already be spotted on numerous celebrities and placed in the Nominees OSCAR Swag Bags of 2013.

Iconic’s creator and founder, Mary Ann Murphy was in Ireland when she had the revelation to found a sustainable candle company where glass could be recycled and repurposed. After seeing an empty candle vessel being thrown out for the umpteenth time, she started to imagine a radical possibility- how could she design a candle with a vessel so gorgeous and practical that you would actually want to keep it in your home and re-purpose it? What would that candle smell like? Could people be inclined to lessen their carbon footprint by burning down their candles and re-using them as everyday drinking glasses or multipurpose containers?

Iconic Scents are derived from the small intimate moments that come with being surrounded by nature, spending time with loved ones, having a conversation with an old friend, the feeling of closeness, of togetherness. These scents are Iconic to us, because they engender this intimacy and connection, we all seek carrying with them their own sets of memories and emotions and infusing those with your own.
